Hey guys it has been a while since I have made a journal entry. Some exciting thing have been happening with my comic career. A few months ago I was picked up by Arcana comics. I completed my first book for them Death's Row it is kind of a Twilightzone horror book with a strange twist. Last month I started on a new graphic novel for Arcana Comics "Midnight to Daylight". It is a 110 page vampire book. Don't worry all you vampire fans, we did the vampires justice in the book. The cool thing about Midnight to Daylight is that there is a story about the heros side and a story about the villains side of the story. I am illustrating the villains side Midnight and Martin Coccolo is illustrating the hero side Daylight. I have a few more projects in the works but I will not talk of them till there almost complete.
I have had romancing thoughts of being a comic artist as a kid and still do to a small degree. It is a good thing that I love to draw stories and am good at it because I am having to draw 5 to 8 pages penciled & inked every week to meet deadlines. This is hard to do with a full time job but somehow I make it work. 5 years ago I would not have been able to do it. I have also found that I work better when given hard deadlines. I invite the challenge and working fast seems to improve my skills. My goals are to illustrate stories that captures the reader to the point of intruding into there dreams. I will keep you posted then these book go on sale.
I always like to hear your thoughts and things that are happening in you guys world. So please keep me posted as well...
